From Indiana Jones to Network to Alladin, Hollywood has consistently portrayed Arabs as barbaric and evil. Is it any wonder so many of us feel not so much as a twinge of guilt over the deaths of a million Iraqis due to the invasion and occupation? Is it the Jewish influence in Hollywood or a more long-standing European attitude toward Arabs.
