In a long interview with veteran journalist Amy Goodman, Batiste bluntly states his views. Guantanamo: shut it down, against American values. Iraq War: strategy fundamentally flawed then & now. Torture: it happened but we got better info when we didn't torture. He's a life-long Republican from a military family who just had to "speak out." Kudos!
